2025 Schedule of The 508

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18: 12:00 – 4:00 PM PDT

BICYCLE CASE AND OVERSIZE LUGGAGE STORAGE:
If you have large boxes that you need to store during the race, you may bring them to RACER CHECK-IN for storage at the host hotel. They may be retrieved at any time after the first finishers begin to cross the finish line on Saturday.

 

RACER CHECK-IN
Location: Borrego Springs Resort, 1112 Tilting T Drive, Borrego Springs, CA 92004
Only racers will need to attend check-in, but all racer and crew waivers need to handed in, signed. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 4:00PM, OR THE ASSOCIATED RACER(S) WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.

PRE-RACE MEETING for The 508 RACERS
Location: Borrego Springs Resort, 1112 Tilting T Drive, Borrego Springs, CA 92004
We will have an in-person race meeting, because we have secured a large room with tall ceilings and space to spread out at the convention center. The convention center is 4.4 miles from the Hilton Garden Inn (about a 10-minute drive).
MANDATORY. Solo entrants must be represented by the racer and at least one crew. 2X Team entrants must be represented by at least one racer and one crew. 4X Team entrants must be represented by at least two racers and one crew or 3 racers. ALL crew members and ALL racers are strongly encouraged to attend.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19: 5:00 AM PDT/7:00 AM PDT

 

THE 508 SOLO AND RANDONNEUR START TIME (5:00 AM):
Location: The race will begin at the Borrego Springs Resort, near the starting arch in the lot north of the tennis courts.
All riders must be present at the start no later than twenty minutes prior to their start time for pre-race instructions and photos. Front and Rear bicycle lights are required for 5:00 AM starters.

 

THE 508 RELAY START TIME (7:00 AM):
Location: The race will begin at the Borrego Springs Resort, near the starting arch in the lot north of the tennis courts.
All riders must be present at the start no later than twenty minutes prior to their start time for pre-race instructions and photos.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21: 5:00 AM/6:00 AM PDT

SILVER STATE 508 FINISH TIMES:
Location: The race will finish at the Borrego Springs Resort, near the starting arch in the lot north of the tennis courts.
Barring any unforeseen serious circumstances, the event is officially finishes for solo and team entrants at 5:00AM on Sunday, and randonneur entrants at 6:00AM on Sunday.
